The Laguna Platinum Series 20" Thickness Planer provides increased capacity to handle extra wide stock. The cast-iron infeed and outfeed tables provide plenty of support to process your lumber without snipe. The 5.5 HP motor has plenty of power to tackle big jobs easily. Table adjustments are smooth and accurate with a handwheel and a positive gear drive system and 4 post support. Dual feed speeds allows you to quickly remove stock for thicknessing and to slow the feed for precise finish cuts. Table rollers are positioned below the chain-driven infeed and outfeed rollers for smooth feeding even with wide boards. Digital readout makes precision and repeatable cuts effortless. Laguna's Shear-Tec spiral cutterhead rapidly produces a superior finish from the German carbide inserts. Magnetic switch with overload protection insures safety and reliability.
