I purchased this set 6 months ago and I am amazed at the quality of the components! Everything has a feeling of being weightier than the competition. Being able to use double sided bits in a quick lok collar is brilliant, I've been waiting a long time for that one, well done Milwaukee! It has an excellent 6" extension with a quick lok collar that allows you to reach places without piggybacking an extension on a short quick lok collar. There are a surplus of bits, both 1" and 2". The magnetic bit holder is a welcome addition for when you're doing light work and have to change bits quickly. I love the hex shanks on the drill bits as well. I had one (3/32) break on me going into an oak hand rail, but I attribute this more to the size of the bit and the hardness of the material as opposed to the quality of the bit. This is truly an outstanding tool set and a great value here at Amazon. I highly recommend it to all pros as well as diy.Milwaukee 48-32-1500 38-Piece Quik Lok Bit Set

If you can find a set not made in China, go for it, but this had the most for the buck. I'd prefer everyone boycott Chinese products. Bits are holding up to stresses well.

I bought this set for the QUIK-LOK extension chuck, great double end bit holder. All the included bits are useful, the drill bits may be junk, will see. They are not DRILL DOC compatible. For drilling with a hex drive tool, I have found the Milwaukee hex drive chuck 1/4 inch, # 49-22-1560 @ $22.xx useful for common shank drill bits. The case is easy to use, putting bits back into the storage compartment is a snap. Unlike a DeWalt bit kit I have, a real struggle to put bits back into the case. Included smooth shank chuck is (I assume) for use in a regular drill chuck, and holds double end bits. Would buy this set again.

I love this set. Unlike the "150+ of Everything" sets, this kit has everything you need, and nothing you don't. The case is solid and latches well. I was suspicious of the Quick-Lok system since I own a different-branded drill, but it works there too. All in all a great buy.
